Casey and Daniel are one of those couples you stay friends for life with.
During one of our wanders in California, days prior to their wedding, I ended up doing some San Francisco Bridge engagement photos.
Luckily I don’t go anywhere without my camera!
Our adventures can’t be in only one post!
I want to dedicate yet one more post to Casey and Daniel: Their Wedding day!
Our connection is one of those that doesn’t happen often. And I am friends with all my couples.
I just can’t explain with words what happened when we met. You just felt it!
Our story started with a FaceTime call, where shy Casey and Daniel spoke to me about wanting to do their engagement photos in London. You can read all about it here.
And as I prep the massive post that will be dedicated to their wedding day, I came across these unplanned San Francisco Bridge engagement photos that hadn’t yet seen the light of day.
The days prior to the wedding matter
And I am so grateful I got to enjoy them with Casey and Daniel.
On this day, besides the HUGE double breakfast and double lunch I had (Daniel says he never saw someone eating like I do), we went for a walk near San Francisco Bridge.
The weather was warm although windy. The colours of the city felt moving, and I always have my camera on me.
When I look at these, I can’t help but to remember the bonding that went on amongst us. Us three plus two other friends that were with us on this day.
Our conversations, shared experiences… I know for a fact that this is one of the secrets of what I do: I truly love people. Real people. With ups and downs, and who are open about their troubles and not afraid of being vulnerable.
I am like that too.
What these San Francisco Bridge engagement photos make me feel
Connection. The warm embrace of getting a new vinyl album and the feels of opening its plasticky protection.
These San Francisco Bridge engagement photos allow me to feel the textures of our emotions on this day.
We were tired, anxious about the wedding day going well… we were raw and real.
Little did we actually know, that Casey was pregnant with their first baby.
I’ll never forget these moments, our talks and full bellies.
I love you two. And nothing in the world will ever change that.
Great to be back to San Fran for a second time in my life. Grateful for having friends and clients who allow me to see the world through their eyes and my new eyes.
Grateful for being alive and experiencing human connection, while elevating my craft and art into higher standards.
Each shoot is a journey, each wedding is a chapter.
Each time my soul becomes more whole.
Love,
Luisa
