With Elsa and Ayaz, where do I even start?
She is a beautiful Azorean princess. Kind, beautiful and smart. He is this super handsome Indian/Mozambican business man, with the most incredible smile (did you see those teeth?!).
Her father cried before walking her down the aisle. We actually thought we wasn’t feeling well with all the sobbing, but just reminding him that she would always be his little girl filled him with pride and off they went. Ayaz smiled while she was going down the stairs and yelled a huge “i do” when asked if she was the one. Who would say that he was this incurable romantic? A plane crossed the skies over the Arriba venue and there it was, a message of love for everyone to see. Oh! The look in Elsa’s eyes.
This was the second time I saw Indian rituals while on a wedding and I always love the celebrations. In the end, it was a day filled with tradition and modernism. An interpretation that was so them! Mixig all of this with the poker theme, Bollywood dancers and thousands of confetti just filled my heart. (And hair… it took me a long time to take them from my hair and clothes and 2 days after I still spotted confetti on my floor here and there.. hahaha).
Awesome all the way. What an incredible day!
xoxo, Lu.
