I love doing a Kew Gardens engagement shoot!
And Marta and Tiago made all my dreams come true.
Kew gardens is by far one of my favourite spots in London. And luckily, it’s really near my home.
The gardens are to die for, and the greenhouses are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It truly is a world apart.
So you can guess my happiness when I was contacted by this Portuguese couple living in London to have their engagement shoot done there.
Tiago had proposed to Marta a year before in Kew, so it only made sense to them that we made their photos here. The challenge would be to find the exact same spot in a completely different season.
But you know what? After a beautiful walk, many photos taken, talking about life and experiences and being immigrants in London, we found it!
Just a little FYI before the shoot…
Marta did warn me before we met that they felt very awkward when having their photos taken.
Little did they know that I love a challenge, and that I love working with fresh photography couples!
